Leader, activist, educator, entrepreneur, influencer, motivational speaker, media personality, Cassandra Anderson focusses on women’s issues and personal development, dedicated to being a positive role model for women of all ages. Anderson attended Spelman College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science; Georgia State University, receiving a master’s degree in Sports Management; and Indiana Wesleyan University, earning a master’s degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resources with a Professional Coaching Certification.
Anderson has been a pivotal leader in the nonprofit sector for over 18 years in various leadership roles. In 2016, founding InPowerU, LLC, a company devoted to helping individuals discover their resiliency. InPowerU’s mission helps people transform their lives by tapping into the creativity of their inner spirit, power within, and unbreakable strength. In 2018, Anderson founded Crowned: “A Queen's Retreat,” a women's empowerment event designed to celebrate women of color. In 2017, she began co-hosting and producing “The Conversation Lounge,” an internet radio show. And, in 2019 launched a new radio show/podcast, entitled “Let’s Go There with Cassandra.” In May of 2019, Cassandra was a featured speaker for TEDx Hobart High School presents “Hardwired for Humanity: Leveraging technology for human progression.” In September of 2021, Anderson published her first book, "Rising From The Ashes: A Journey From Trauma to Healing” available on Amazon.
