I believe quality education is a right not a privilege. So many issues we face derive from one core issue - failed education in our communities. I want to be a part of a grassroots movement that focuses on leaders who are creative, innovative, and passionate about those same core values.
Tiffany graduated from the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI with a degree in marketing and economics. During that time, she worked at a local credit union where she educated and empowered members with the financial literacy and confidence they needed to grow their financial portfolios. A deep-seated belief in the essential nature of bold leadership in public service inspired Tiffany to join Mayor Hogsett's re-election campaign as a field organizer. After the campaign, she worked as a legislative intern with the Senate Democratic Caucus, gaining insight and knowledge into the legislative process at the Indiana Statehouse. After her experience with the Education Committee, Tiffany knew that more work needed to be done to ensure equitable access to education opportunities for students across the state, and more specifically in Marion County. At RISE, Tiffany puts her organizing experience to work by empowering Center Township parents to advocate for the excellent education their students deserve.
