As the senior director of development and operations, Katherin Chi is responsible for raising funds to support RISE Indy’s goals and overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization. Before joining RISE Indy, she served as the communications director at Kiwanis International where she focused on helping its members improve the lives of children in more than 80 nations around the world. In 2016, Katherin worked on Christina Hale’s lieutenant gubernatorial race as the campaign manager where she was responsible for fundraising, voter outreach and volunteer management. In 2020, she served as Christina Hale’s congressional campaign adviser.
Katherin is a founding member of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum Indiana Chapter and she serves on the City of Indianapolis Board of Business and Neighborhood Services.
Katherin is a graduate of Pike High School and Indiana University and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. She currently lives in Indianapolis with her husband and son.
