KATHERIN CHI

Before joining RISE Indy, Katherin served as the communications director at Kiwanis International where she focused on helping its members improve the lives of children in more than 80 nations around the world. In 2016, Katherin worked on Christina Hale’s lieutenant gubernatorial race as the campaign manager where she was responsible for fundraising, voter outreach and volunteer management. In 2020, she served as Christina Hale’s congressional campaign adviser.  

Katherin is a founding member and core leader of Hoosier Asian American Power and she serves on the City of Indianapolis Board of Business and Neighborhood Services. 

Katherin is a graduate of Pike High School and Indiana University and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. She currently lives in Indianapolis with her husband and son.
