JASMINE JACKSON

Growing up in a low-income neighborhood, I learned very quickly the importance of education as a key lever of change for upward economic mobility.

In her role at RISE INDY, Jasmine is focused on bringing together diverse voices for a collective voice around education needs and policy. Jasmine earned her Master of Public Affairs from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs. During her studies, she worked in education policy at Masaka Primary School in Uganda. In this role, Jasmine facilitated the implementation of programs to bolster student learning and teacher pay.  Jasmine served for nearly 4 years in the Indianapolis Mayor's Office of Education Innovation where she helped oversee the performance and accountability for over 30 charters with 40+ locations across Indianapolis.
